Applied Light
We started in 1986 as Applied Light Inc. distributing laser spare parts and components. Today we are Applied Light Manufacturing, Inc. which better describes our orientation to making products, laser marking products and serving the manufacturing sector.
Our core business is laser marking and engraving, specializing in deep metal engraving with a fast turnover time. We use various types of lasers to mark metals, plastics, wood and glass for industrial customers in the Northeast and throughout North America.
Applied Light also builds equipment for industry to use in their facilities.

As Covid-19 changed our world in recent times, we too have evolved to meet our customers' demands. The past few years have taught us that family connections and work/life balance are important to Americans today.
New England Laser Works is the creative sibling to Applied Light. NELW was built to showcase our capabilities within the laser engraving industry and to create meaningful gifts, keepsakes and heirlooms to celebrate what is most important to us...family.
Our Team
Applied Light is owned and operated by Pres and Kathy Macy. Together, they have built a solid, local company dedicated to providing a wonderful customer service experience with an eye towards attention to detail. Our team features a mechanical engineer, expert engravers and designers who can address all of your project's laser engraving needs.
